
Baden Forup dropped 22 points, and Pitt-Johnstown stormed back from seven points down with less than six minutes remaining to capture a thrilling 85-83 Senior Day victory on Saturday afternoon at the Sports Center

The Mountain Cats concluded the 2025-26 campaign with a 12-16 (6-14 PSAC) record. Before tip-off, Pitt-Johnstown recognized seniors
Will Kromka and
Nick Watts for their years of commitment to the program.

Forup also grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds to secure his team-leading 20th double-double of the season. He finished an outstanding junior year in 18th place on the all-time Pitt-Johnstown scoring list with 1,300 points, just four points shy of passing Rich Ragan, who currently sits 17th.

Junior guard
Adam Bilinsky recorded 19 points and pulled down five rebounds.
Will Kromka wrapped his Pitt-Johnstown career with 13 points, while
Vinnie Cugini provided 12 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Trailing 76-69 with 5:55 to play, the Mountain Cats mounted a game-changing 11-2 run that included eight points from Watts. The senior forward drilled back-to-back 3-pointers less than a minute apart to put Pitt-Johnstown in front 80-78 with 88 seconds remaining.

Clarion cut the lead to one on two occasions in the final 14 seconds, but Bilinsky and Cugini each went 2-for-2 at the free-throw line to preserve the win.

Pitt-Johnstown shot 48.5% (32 of 66) from the floor, 33.3% (7 of 21) from beyond the 3-point arc and 73.7 (14 of 19) at the free-throw line. It racked up a narrow 40-37 rebounding edge and a 44-40 advantage in points in the paint.

The Mountain Cats controlled much of the first half, racing out to a 25-12 lead, their largest of the game. The Golden Eagles methodically cut into that lead before a layup from Bilinsky at the 2:42 mark extended the lead back to nine points at 37-28.

Clarion responded with a 12-2 run to end the half and take a narrow 40-39 lead into the locker room.

Watts opened the second half scoring with a jumper to give the Mountain Cats a short-lived 41-40 lead. Clarion led 55-48, but Pitt-Johnstown turned the momentum with a 13-2 flurry that was capped by a 3-pointer from
Cedric Rault.

Aydan Cunningham scored a team-high 22 points for the Golden Eagles, who ended their season with a 12-16 (7-13 PSAC) mark.
