

Pitt-Johnstown junior forward
Baden Forup, the conference leader in six statistical categories, was named First-Team All-PSAC West Men's Basketball when the conference office released this year's honors on Thursday.
Forup, who led the Mountain Cats in scoring (19.8 ppg.), rebounding (11.6 rpg.), field goal percentage (.613), field goals made (242), free-throws made and attempted (69-92), and double-doubles (20), also ranked second on the team in free-throw percentage (.750) and blocks (13), third in assists (57) and tied for third in steals (35).
A native of Mansfield, Ohio and a graduate of Lexington High School, Forup ranked in the top three in nine statistical categories and led the PSAC in double-doubles, field goals made, points (553), total rebounds (326), rebounds per game (11.6), and defensive rebounds per game (8.32), while ranking second in field goal percentage and points per game, and third in offensive rebounds per game (3.39).

Forup who scored 381 points in one season at Capital (OH) University before transferring to Pitt-Johnstown prior to the 2024-25 season, reached 1,000 points for his collegiate career when he scored 16 points at Indiana (PA) on Jan. 7. In two seasons at Pitt-Johnstown, Forup has accumulated 919 points and 484 rebounds. He will enter his senior season with 1,300 total points.
