Head Coach Justin Haupt and the Pitt-Johnstown volleyball team will make their 2026 home debuts in the Sports Center with PSAC matches against Clarion and Slippery Rock.  The Mountain Cats will take on Golden Eagles Friday evening at 6 p.m., before hosting The Rock on Saturday at noon.
 
The Mountain Cats are 7-3 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC West after sweeping California (PA) in the conference opener last Friday.  Ellie Zuro Cirino and Caroline Knight each collected 10 kills, and Kiara Harmon added eight kills in the victory over the Vulcans.
 
Clarion, under 20^th-year Head Coach Jennifer Herron, is 9-4 overall and 1-0 in conference-play.  The Golden Knights swept Slippery Rock last Friday in their PSAC-opener, before handing Findlay (OH) a five-set non-conference loss on Saturday.  Taylor Haupt, Raegan Stader, and Natalie Karrick all had nine kills for Clarion.
 
Prior to Friday's match at Indiana (PA), second-year Head Coach Dylan Lasher's Slippery Rock squad was 5-7 overall and 0-1 in the PSAC West following last Friday's setback to Clarion and a 3-0 loss at Daemen (NY) on Tuesday.  Marley Annis' seven kills and Hayden Deming's five kills led the way for the Rock at Daemen.
 
In 2025, the Golden Eagles swept the two conference matches from the Mountain Cats.  However, Pitt-Johnstown swept Slippery Rock in the Sports Center on Oct. 18, before earning a four-set win in Slippery Rock on Nov. 7.
 
Following Saturday's match, Pitt-Johnstown will travel to Greensburg for a PSC match against Seton Hill on Oct. 2, then host a conference match against Indiana (PA) on Oct. 3 at noon in the Sports Center.
