Pitt-Johnstown men's soccer team under
Head Coach Eric Kinsey, are back home Wednesday afternoon to host a PSAC Western Division match against Seton Hill. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
The Mountain Cats enter the match at 1-5-1 and 0-2-0 in the PSAC West after kicking off the conference schedule with a home loss to California (PA) last Wednesday, and a road loss at Gannon on Saturday.
George Pasko made nine saves in the 2-0 setback to the Vulcans, while
Sebastian Roman Rivera came off the bench to make seven saves against the Golden Knights.
Head Coach Dilveer Chaggar (6
th season) and the Seton Hill Griffins are 3-4-2 overall and 1-1-0 in the PSAC West following a 2-0 victory over Slippery Rock behind goals from Paul Eder and Rowan Aisenbrey to start conference-play last Wednesday and a 2-1 loss at Lock Haven on Saturday.
Last season, the Griffins came away with a 5-2 win in Greensburg on Oct. 10, before completing the conference season sweep with a 3-1 victory in Johnstown on Nov. 1.
The Mountain Cats will host a non-conference match against Lackawanna on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field, before visiting Lock Haven for a PSAC West match on Oct. 7
