2011-12 Season
Noah Hartung played in 26 of the Mountain Cats’ 29 games and made three starts. Hartung averaged 3.7 points and 3.5 rebounds in 16 minutes per game. His 3.5 rebounds ranked second on the team, while his 51.3% (39-76) field goal percentage and 11 three-pointers were both good enough for fourth on the team. Hartung scored in double-figures twice and scored seven or more points seven times. He also grabbed five or more rebounds in a game seven times.Hartung recorded all of his career-highs during the 2009-10 season. He has highs of 17 points at Davis & Elkins (WV) College on Jan. 14, 2010, pulled down 13 rebounds in his Mountain Cat debut against the University of the District of Columbia on Nov. 18, 2009, and dished out nine assists at Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University on Nov. 24, 2009.
2010-11 Season
Hartung played in all 28 games and made two starts as a sophomore. He averaged 2.9 points per game, and pulled down 3.6 rebounds per game to tie for third on the team. Hartung also shot 45.5% (30-66) from the floor, dished out 47 assists, made 14 steals, and blocked two shots. He scored in double-figures twice and grabbed five or more rebounds 12 times.
2009-10 Season
Hartung transferred to Pitt-Johnstown and made an immediate impact in 2009-10. Hartung played in 27 games and made 21 starts. He was the Mountain Cats’ second-leading rebounder (5.0 rpg.) and averaged 4.0 points and 2.0 assists per game. He also shot 47.0% (47-100) from the field. Hartung scored eight or more points in a game five times, grabbed five or more rebounds 14 times and dished out four or more assists six times.
At Butler Area High School
Hartung joined the Pitt-Johnstown basketball team in 2009-10 after taking a red-shirt at Snow (UT) Junior College in 2006-07 and spending two years on a Mission.Hartung was a three-year letterman in both basketball and football at Butler Area High School. As a senior, under Head Coach Joe Lewondowski , he averaged seven points, five rebounds and five assists per game.
Hartung’s father is currently the head men’s and women’s basketball coach at Butler County Community College.
