2014-2015
Olivia Rizzo joined Head Coach Mike Drahos’ starting line-up as a junior in 2014-15 and averaged 5.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. Rizzo’s 73 assists paced the Lady Cats, while her 17 steals fourth and her 3.2 rebounds were fifth on the team. Rizzo scored in double figures six times, grabbed three or ore rebounds 17 times, and had three or more assists in a game 12 times.
Rizzo played in all 27 games in the 2013-14 season and finished her sophomore season averaging 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. She also had 18 assists, made eight steals and blocked two shots. She led the Lady Cats one time in scoring.
As a true freshman in 2012-13, Rizzo played in 15 games and made nine starts for Head Coach Sasha Palmer. She averaged 2.9 points and nearly one rebound and one assist in just over 12 minutes per game. Rizzo shot 40.0% (14-35) and hit 6-16 from behind the three-point line.
Rizzo has single-game highs of 17 points against Clarion on Nov. 19, 2014, nine rebounds at Seton Hill on Feb. 7, 2015, and nine assists at Cheyney on Jan. 4, 2015.
Olivia is the daughter of Lou and Jennifer Cortazzo.

At Penn Trafford High School
Olivia Rizzo was a four-year letterman in basketball and a one-year letter-winner in softball at Penn Trafford High School. Rizzo, selected as her team’s most valuable player in 2011-12, averaged 8.1 points per game and shot 76% from the free-throw line as a senior. She was also named to the 2011 Lady Spartan Holiday Tournament All-Tournament Team.
Rizzo, a two-year team captain, guided Penn Trafford to back-to-back WPIAL Section I Championships, the program’s first and second section titles since 1974. Rizzo also helped the Lady Warriors to four straight trips to the post-season, including a spot in the PIAA AAAA State Playoffs in 2011.
She was coached by John Giannikas at Penn Trafford High School.
