Biography
Freshman Season (2012-13)
Josh Duplin earned the starting job at 285 lbs. and advanced to the National Tournament as a true freshman. Duplin finished with a 23-10 overall record and an 11-6 mark in dual meets on his way to placing fourth a the Super Region I Tournament. His 23 victories ranked fourth on the team, while his 15 wins by decision tied him for second. Duplin also won the championship at the Washington & Jefferson Collegiate Open and placed fifth at the Wilkes Open.
Sophomore Season (2013-14)
Duplin posted a 26-13 overall record and a 10-5 record in dual meets on his way to becoming an All-American with a seventh-place finish at the National Tournament. He placed third at the Super Region I Tournament and fourth at the Franklin & Marshall Open. Duplin’s 17 victories by decision led the team, while his 26 overall victories were third on the team.
Junior Season (2014-15)
Took a red-shirt
Duplin will return to the Mountain Cats' line-up as a red-shirt junior in 2015-16.
High School
Four-year letterman...senior season record of 37-2… career record of 141-29 with 80 falls...3-time PIAA AAA State Place winner (5th, 5th, 2nd).
