2016-17 Season
Isaac Vescovi, a 2016-17 First-Team Co-SIDA Academic All-District II selection and a PSAC Winter Top-10 Team choice, wrapped up his junior season as Pitt-Johnstown’s second leading scorer at 15.5 ppg. and second-leading rebounder at 4.6 rpg. His 59.3% (194-327) field goal percentage led the Mountain Cats, and ranked 29th in NCAA Division II, while his 74 assists and 15 blocked shots both ranked third on the team. Vescovi, the PSAC West Co-Player of the week on February 27, led Pitt-Johnstown in scoring nine time and rebounding four times. He enters his senior season 170 points shy of becoming Pitt-Johnstown’s 29th 1,000-point scorer.
Vescovi has career-highs of 26 points against Edinboro University on Feb. 4, 2017, 10 rebounds at California University (PA) on Feb. 3, 2016, and seven assists against Edinboro on Feb. 10, 2016.
2015-16 Season
Isaac Vescovi started all 29 games as a red-shirt sophomore and finished the season as Pitt-Johnstown’s fourth leading scorer at 11.7 points per game. He also led the team in field goal percentage at 55.3% (141-255), was second in rebounding (4.7 rpg.), and third in assists (65). He led the team in scoring nine times and rebounding five times. Vescovi had one double-double and scored in double figures 19 times, including a streak nine straight games between January 20 and February 17.
2014-15 Season
Isaac Vescovi played in 13 games after red-shirting as a true freshman in 2013-14. In those 13 games, Vescovi averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. He shot 55.0% (11-20) from the field, dished out four assists, and made a pair of steals. Vescovi also scored in double figures one time and pulled down three or ore rebounds on thre occasions.
At Cambria Heights High School
Isaac Vescovi, a three-year letterman, averaged 21.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists and nearly two blocks per game as a senior under Head Coach Eric Nagel at Cambria Heights High School. He led his team to back-to-back District 6 Playoff appearances and finished his career with 1,151 points. Vescovi, who graduated with High Honors, posted a career-best 35 points against Bedford High School and set the school record for three-point field goals in a game with eight against Riverview High School.
