In 2018-19, Maurina Nunn started all 29-games and averaged 2.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. Her 52 assists and 22 steals both ranked third on the team.

Nunn recorded single-game highs of 10 points against Winston-Salem State (NC) University on Nov. 12, 2016 and 10 points against Shaw (NC) University at the Shepherd Tip-Off Classic on Nov. 11, 2017. She pulled down seven rebounds on five different occasions. Nunn also dished out six assists against Slippery Rock University on Feb. 25, 2017 and six assists against Cheyney University on Dec. 18, 2018.

Maurina Nunn, a nominee for the 2015-16 Ohio Division III Player of the Year, averaged 15 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 10 steals per game as a senior at Beachwood High School.
She was a second-Team All-District and a Second-Team All-CVC selection. Nunn was also tabbed a GCBCA All-Star, a Herald All-Star, an Ohio Varsity All-Star, and an Ohio North-South All-Star.

Maurina is the daughter of Maurie Nunn and Surina Pitts. She was coached by Dwayne Morrow at Beachwood High School.
