2013 Season

Derek Younker led the Mountain Cats with an 8-4 record and a 4.16 ERA in 71.1 innings of work in 2013. His 71.1 innings pitched led the team while his 41 strikeouts were second of the team. Nationally, his 1.24 walks allowed per nine innings ranked 28th in the country.

2012 Season

Younker posted a team-best 6-1 record and a 2.20 ERA in 2012 on his way to being named Second-Team All-WVIAC and Honorable Mention NCBWA All-Atlantic Region.  Younker also struck out 33 and allowed just 12 walks in 49 innings of work.

2011 Season

Younker made 11 appearances, including five starts as a freshman in 2011.  He posted a 1-2 record with on complete-game, while his 3.65 ERA in 37 innings was second on the team.  Younker also fanned 13 and walked only four.
