Biography

At Pitt-Johnstown
2016-17 Season
          Levi Masua played in all 30 games as a junior in 2016-17 and averaged 5.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.  His 21 blocked shots led the Mountain Cats, while his 4.5 rebounds per game ranked third on the team.  Six times Masua led Pitt-Johnstown in rebounding.  He grabbed 10 or more rebounds in a game four times, including a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds against Seton Hill in the First Round of the PSAC Tournament on Feb. 27.  He also scored in double figures six times.
 
    Masua has single-game highs of 20 points against Slippery Rock University on Feb. 25, 2017, 15 rebounds against Lock Haven University on Dec. 10, 2016, and five assists against Carlow University on Nov. 16, 2016.
 

2015-16 Season
           Levi Masua played in 19 games and averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.  His six blocked shots tied for fourth-best on the team.  Masua also shot 40.6% (13-32) from the field and 75.0% (9-12) from the free-throw line.         
 
2014-15 Season
 
          Levi Masua appeared in 22 games as a true freshman and averaged 1.9 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.  He shot 48.1% (13-27) from the field and 40.0% (8-20) from 3-point range.  Masua finished third on the team with six blocked shots.  He also had 10 assists and six steals.  Masua scored in double figures twice and grabbed three or more rebounds in a game five times.
   


At Seton La Salle High School
 
             Levi Masua averaged 15.6 points and 10 rebounds per game on his way to being named Pennsylvania All-State and guide Seton La Salle High School to a WPIAL Championship and a PIAA runner-up finish in 2013-14. Masua, who graduate from Seton La Salle with a 3.5 overall GPA, was also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Environmental Club, SADD, and Rebels for Life. Masua is the son of Sano Masua and Widad Salim Lako.  He was coached by Mark Walsh at Seton La Salle High School.
