At Pitt-Johnstown
2018-2019
Alli McGrath joined the starting line-up and made an immediate impact in 2018-19 after playing two seasons at NCAA Division I University of Maryland Baltimore College. McGrath, a Second-Team All-PSAC Western Division selection, led the Mountain Cats in 3-point field goals made (65), 3-point field goal percentage (34.9%), and minutes-played (36.5 mpg) and was second on the team in scoring (17.3 ppg.), assists (67), and steals (35). The PSAC West Athlete of the Week on February 11 was also third in blocks (21) and fourth in rebounding (5.3 rpg.). Her 17.3 points per game ranked 66th in NCAA Division II, and her 36.5 minutes-played per game led the PSAC and ranked 13th nationally. McGrath scored in double figures in 25 of Pitt-Johnstown’s 29 games.
In just one season, McGrath posted single-game highs of 32 points at Mansfield University on Dec. 1, 2018, 10 rebounds at Edinboro University on Feb. 6, 2019, and six assists at Mansfield on Dec. 1, 2018.

At South Park High School
Alli McGrath was a three-time PIAA All-State selection from South Park High School and a two-year letter-winner at Division I University of Baltimore County (UMBC), before transferring to Pitt-Johnstown prior to the 2018-19 season.
At South Park High School, McGrath was a four-year letter-winner in basketball and a one-year letter-winner in track and field. McGrath finished her high school basketball career with 1,888 points, three all-section, and three all-state awards. She guided South Park to four straight playoff berths, including one PIAA State Championship and two PIAA appearances in the state semifinals. In addition, South Park won three section titles and one WPIAL Championship.

At University of Maryland Baltimore County
In 2016-17 and 2017-18, McGrath was a letterman at UMBC. As a freshman, McGrath played 15.5 minutes per game and averaged 4.7 points per game. The following season, she started eight games and averaged 6.2 points in 21 minutes per game.
Alli is the daughter of Catherine McGrath and the late James McGrath. She was coached by Reggie Wells at South Park High School.
