2013 Season

Nate Pope batted .330 with five doubles, a homerun, and 13 RBI in 29 games in 2013. Pope also pitched in 11 Mountain Cat games (8 starts) and had a 4-3 record with a 4.69 ERA. He also struck out 37 in 48 innings of work.

2012 Season

Pope made an immediate impact for the Mountain Cats as both a pitcher and as a position player during his freshman year in 2012.  In 39 games at shortstop, Pope hit .287 with four doubles, a homerun and 14 RBI.  On the mound, Pope made eight appearances (5 starts) and was 0-2 with a 4.21 ERA in 25.2 innings.  He also had one save.

Native of Hollidaysburg, Pa. and a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School where he earned three letters in baseball and two letters in basketball...led team to district championships in both baseball and basketball...majoring in Business Marketing...son of Steve and Eva Pope.
