2022-23 Season
Andrew Shull made his Mountain Cat debut and finished the season as Pitt-Johnstown’s assist leader (92) and second leading scorer (11.3 ppg.) on his way to being named the PSAC West Freshman of the Year and Second-Team All-PSAC West. His 52 3-pointers also paced the team, while his 86.7% (52-60) free-throw percentage was second and his 23 steals were third on the team. Shull scored in double figures 17 times, had four or more rebounds 14 times, and four or more assists 12 times.
Shull has single-game highs pf 23 points against Indiana (PA) on Jan. 14, 2023 and 23 points against West Liberty (WV) on March 11, 2023. He also pulled down 10 rebounds at Edinboro on Jan. 25, 2023, and had six assists on four occasions.
At Rio Grande (OH) College
Andrew Shull played the 2020-21 season for Head Coach Ryan Arrowood at NAIA Rio Grande College in Ohio, then transferred to Pitt-Johnstown prior to the 2022-23 season. Shull, an All-Section performer, averaged 15.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game and posted a single-game high of 27 points on three occasions on he way to helping Rio Grande earn a spot in the NAIA National Tournament.
At Chapmanville Regional High School
Shull, a West Virginia All-State selection, helped lead Head Coach Brad Napier’s Champanville Regional High School to a pair of State Championships. Shull, who scored 1,369 career points, had single-game highs of 36 points, 18 assists, and 12 rebounds.
Shull is the son of Kevin and Missy Shull of Milton, WV.
Shull is majoring in Special Education.
