2022-23 Season
As a sophomore in 2022-23, Andy Zuchelli played in all 30 games and averaged 3.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game. Zuchelli’s 10 blocked shots ranked second on the team, while his 16 steals were tied for fourth and his 19 3-pointers ranked fifth on the team. He was also 14-16 from the free-throw line. Zuchelli scored in double figures four times and had three or more rebounds eight times.
Zuchelli recorded single game highs of 13 points and five assists against West Virginia Wesleyan on Nov. 11, 2022 and five rebounds at Nova Southeastern on Nov. 22, 2022.
2021-22 Season
Zuchelli, who’s first season was canceled by COVID-19, played in 24 games (2 starts) and averaged 3.9 points, 1.2 rebounds, and nearly one assists per game. Zuchelli, whose 24 3-pointers ranked fifth on the team, also made six steals and blocked one shot.
At North Star High School
Andy Zuchelli played for Head Coach Randy Schrock at North Star High School where he was named 2019-20 PIAA Class 2A First-Team All-State and the Somerset County Most Valuable Player. Zuchelli, a two-time PIAA 2A All-State, choice and a three-time All-Somerset County selection, holds North Star’s All-Time Scoring Record with 1,933 career points. He also had 432 career rebounds and 467 career assists. Zucelli led North Star to District 5 titles and to the PIAA 2A State Quarterfinals in both 2018-19 and 2019-20.
Zuchelli is the son of Barbara Zuchelli of Jennerstown, Pa. and the late Michael Zuchelli.
Zuchelli is majoring in Business.
