2021-22 Season
Limited by injuries, Caiden Landis played in 23 games and made nine starts. Landis averaged 4.7 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He shot 51.2% from the field and had 10 assists, nine steals, and three blocked shots. Landis enters his final season with 754 career points, 246 points shy of becoming Pitt-Johnstown’s 34th 1,000-point scorer.
Landis has single-game highs of 21 points and nine assists against California (PA) on Jan. 16, 2019, and 11 rebounds at Lock Haven on Dec. 21, 2019.
2019-20 Season
In 31 games-played (30 starts), Caiden Landis was Pitt-Johnstown’s third leading scorer at 11.2 points per game. He with Josh Wise for second on the team in rebounding at 4.5 rebounds per game and second behind John Paul Kromka in field goal percentage at 60.5% (138-228). Landis, who connected on 5-12 from behind the arc, also had 41 assists, 10 steals and eight blocked shots.
2018-19 Season
Landis played in all 30 games and made 16 starts as a true freshman in 2018-19. Landis ranked third on the team in rebounding (5.0 rpg.) and field goal percentage (54.5%) and fourth in scoring (9.9 ppg.) and assists (65). He also blocked 13 shots and made 13 steals. Landis led the Mountain Cats in scoring three times and rebounding four times.
At Logan High School
An Ohio Honorable Mention All-State selection in both basketball and soccer at Logan High School, Caiden Landis was also a Two-time All-District 13 performer in Ohio. Landis averaged 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game, while shooting close to 60% from the field. Not only was Landis a standout in athletics, he was also recognized for his success in the classroom as an Ohio Division 1 All-Academic Team selection in 2018.
In addition, Landis was a First-Team All-State and All-Midwest Region in soccer.
Landis was coached by Chris Rider and his Father, Gregg Landis, at Logan High School.
Landis is majoring in Education.
