Biography

At Pitt-Johnstown
2021-22 Season
          Jared Jakubick had his best season as a Mountain Cat in 2021-22.  Jakubick played in all 30 games (20 starts) and averaged 7.2 points per game.  His 4.9 rebounds per game were third best on the team and his 44 assists ranked fourth on the team.  Jakubick shot 47.0% (70-149) from the field, 37.8% (28-74) from 3-point range, and 86.0% (49-57) from the free-throw line.  He scored in double figures nine times and pulled down five or more rebounds 16 times.
 
             Jakubick has single-game highs of 23 points against California (PA) on Jan. 16, 2019 and 23 at Allegheny on Nov. 20, 2021.  He also had 11 rebounds at Edinboro on Feb. 5, 2022 and six assists against Carlow University on Nov. 28, 2018.
 
2019-20 Season
In 31 games-played, Jakubick averaged 4.5 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.  His 51.2% (21-41) 3-point field goal percentage led Pitt-Johnstown.  Jakubick also had 19 assists, 18 steals, and three blocked shots.
 
2018-19 Season
Jakubick, the PSAC West Freshman of the Week on Nov. 26, 2018, played in all 30 games as a true freshman and averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.  He led Pitt-Johnstown in both 3-point field goal percentage (41.1%) and 3-point field goals made (39).  Jakubick also ranked fourth on the team in steals with 24.  He led Pitt-Johnstown in scoring four times.
 
 
At Mansfield-St. Peter's High School
Jared Jakubick, the 2017 Ohio Division 4 State Player of the Year, led Mansfield-St. Peter’s High School to the Ohio State Quarterfinals and a 26-1 overall record.  The do-it-all guard averaged 24.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.  He was named Ohio First-Team All-State and was selected to play in the Ohio State All-Star Game.  Jakubick ended his high school career with totals of 1,745 points, 608 rebounds, and 383 assists.
 
Jakubick was coached by his father, Joe Jakubick, at Mansfield St. Peter’s High School.

He is the son of Joe and Anne of Akron, OH.

Jakubick is majoring in Information Systems.
