2013-14 Season
       
         Matt Palo averaged 8.6 points and 4.4 rebounds in 21 minutes per game as a junior. His 52.6% (72-137) field goal shooting ranked second on the team while his 15 steals were fourth on the team. Palo also collected 32 assists. He scored in double figures nine times and pulled down four or more rebounds 14 times. He led the team in scoring on one occasion and rebounding seven times.
       Palo posted highs of 18 points at Seton Hill University on Jan. 15, 2014 and 18 points against Seton Hill University on Feb. 15, 2014.  He also pulled down 11 rebounds at Clarion University on Dec. 4, 2013 and against Seton Hill University on Feb. 15, 2014. He also dished out seven assists against Penn State-Beaver on Jan. 23, 2013.

2012-13 Season
         Palo saw action in 22 games (one start) and averaged 4.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.  He shot an impressive 60.3% (38-63) from the field, had 26 assists, seven steals and two blocked shots.  Palo scored in double-figures twice and had five or more rebounds in a game five times.
            Palo posted highs of 16 points against Bluefield State (WV) College on Feb. 4, 2012 and 16 points against West Liberty (WV) University on Feb. 9, 2012.  He also pulled down seven rebounds at Concord (WV) University on Dec. 10, 2011, dished out two assists vs. Roberts Wesleyan (NY) College on Nov. 25, 2011 and two assists at Shepherd (WV) University on Feb. 15, 2012.
 
2011-12 Season
            Palo provided Head Coach Bob Rukavina with quality minutes off the bench as a true freshman.  Palo averaged 4.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in 29 games-played.  He shot 54.9% (50-91) from the field, had 14 assists, made nine steals, and blocked a pair of shots.  Three times scored in double-figures.  He grabbed four or more rebounds 10 times.
 
At Norwin High School
            Palo, the WPIAL’s leading scorer as a senior, played for Head Coach Lynn Washowich at Norwin High School where he scored 1,269 career points and was named Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Athlete of the Year in 2010-11.  He averaged 10.7 points per game for his career, including 30.2 points and 6.2 assists per game as a senior on his way to guiding Norwin to the WPIAL Playoffs two consecutive years.  In addition, he was named Tribune Review Terrific-10, Daily News Fab 15, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fab-Five East.  Palo earned Second-Team All-WPIAL-MSA.com and was selected to play in both the Pittsburgh Roundball Classic and the WPIAL All-Star Game.
