2024-25 Season
Jay Rose made an immediate impact s a true freshman on his way to being the Mountain Cats’ second leading scorer at 14.4 ppg. and third-leading rebounder at 4.3 ppg. Rose shot 47.8% (131-274) from the field and 38.1% (45-118) from behind the 3-point line. His 45 3-pointers paced Pitt-Johnstown, while his 10 bocks were second on the team. Rose also had 33 assists and 20 steals.

Through one season, Rose posted single-game highs of 35 points vs. Ana G. Mendez at the Puerto Rico Classico on Nov. 26, 2024 and 11 rebounds vs. Shaw (NC) on Nov. 9, 2024. Rose also dished out four assists on three occasions.

At Madison Southern High School
Jay Rose was a five-year letterman, three-time All-State selection, and four-time First-Team 11
th Region choice for Head Coach Steve Wright at Madison Southern High School. He averaged 24.0 ppg, 9.0 rpg, and 3.0 assists per game his senior season on his way to becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer over 2,600 points and rebounder with more than 800 rebounds. Rose shot 65% from the field, 48% from 3-point range, and 80% from the free-throw line. A two-time District 44/11
th Region champion, Rose was also named a Junior All Star following the 22-23 season.
Rose, who graduate with a 4.0 GPA.
