Biography
At Pitt-Johnstown
After transferring from Roberts Wesleyan (NY) University, Riley Childress made her Pitt-Johnstown debut in 2023-24 and played in 24 games and made one start. She averaged 2.2 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. Childress also had 12 steals.
Through one season, Childress recorded single-game highs of six points at Lock Haven University on Dec. 1, 2023 and six points Slippery Rock University on Jan. 20, 2024. She grabbed four rebounds on three occasions, and dished six assists against East Stroudsburg University on Dec. 19, 2023.
At Roberts Wesleyan (NY) University
Childress played the 2022-23 season at Roberts Wesleyan (NY) University where she started eight games and played 474 minutes as a freshman. Childress was also named Rookie of the Week.
At Warren Area High School
Childress was a four-year letter-winner at Warren Area High School where she finished her career as the school’s fifth-leading scorer with 1,341 points. Childress, a four-time all-region choice and a two-time All-District 10 selection, helped lead her team to three district 10 Championships.
Childress was coached by Lisa Lavan at Warren Area High School.
She is majoring in Biology/Pre-Physician's Assistant...Riley is the daughter of Red and Stacy Childress of Warren, Pa.
