Aquila Fox was named the assistant softball coach in February 2016.
Fox, a former West Virginia University Institute of Technology outfielder and slapper, graduated from with a degree in Sport Management in May 2015.
Fox was apart of the 2013 WVU Tech team that placed 5th in the USCAA National Tournament. She played her first two years of softball at Centralia College in Centralia, WA, where she was named First-Team NWAACC Western Conference Freshman and Sophomore-of-the-Year. Fox helped guideher team to the NWAACC Championship Tournament both years. Fox was also names a captain sophomore year.
Fox is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Sport Science with a concentration in Sports Management at Indiana University (PA).
Fox began her coaching career while still in high school in her hometown of Tacoma, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. She coached softball, soccer and basketball. During her college career, Fox also coached travel softball during her summer break with local clubs, Washington Speed and Washington Pride.
