Kendale "KJ" Chambers joined the Pitt-Johnstown women's basketball coaching staff prior to the 2025-26 season.
Chambers brings three solid years of coaching experience to the court, having worked with Division II college, post-graduate, and high school basketball programs.
Most recently, Chambers served as an assistant coach for the Shorter University Women’s Basketball team, helping lead the squad to a 21–7 record and a Conference Carolinas Southwest Division Championship—the program’s most wins since 2011.
Prior to his time at Shorter, Chambers spent two years at DME Academy, a nationally ranked high school and post-graduate basketball program, where he played a key role in coaching, player development and team success within DME’s National Teams.
As a player, Chambers competed for three years at Shorter University and ranked among the Top 25 in 3-Point Field Goals Per Game in the Gulf South Conference in 2022.
Before his collegiate career, chambers played one post-graduate season at the nationally recognized Mount Zion Prep, where he further refined his skills and leadership on the court.
A native of Loganville, Georgia, Chambers earned his B.B.A. in Sports Administration in 2021 and his MBA in Business Administration in 2023 from Shorter University.
