In 12 games as a true freshman, Connie scored five points and grabbed three rebounds…she also made three steals in two minutes per game…Connie scored three points against Davis & Elkins (WV) College on 02/02/04 and pulled down two rebounds against West Liberty State (WV) College on 01/28/04…Connie brings a list of on and off the court honors to Pitt Johnstown with her…Connie continues to work hard to improve her game and make the needed adjustments to the college game…she also displays great enthusiasm for the game…daughter of Mike and Karen Derzack.

Connie finished her high school career with 816 points, 218 rebounds, 423 assists, 84 three-point field goals, 289 steals and 91 blocked shots…led WPIAL Class AAAA in scoring at 13.1 points per game as a senior…also averaged 6.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 4.6 steals per game…Most Valuable Player at 2003 Eat’n Park Pennsylvania Hoops Roundball Classic…two-year team captain…2003 A-K Valley Cager Classic All Star MVP and Scholastic Essay winner…2002 Keystone State Games silver medalist in the Scholastic Basketball Division…2002 AAU PA Hoops All-Star…2002 Nike Blue Star Shootout participant…2002 OGBM Top 64 Showcase participant…Duke University Individual Camp Most Aggressive Player Award winner…four-year letter winner in track and field and 2003 team MVP…holds 100-meter school record at 12.5 seconds…honor roll student…Connie brings a list of on and off the court honors to Pitt Johnstown with her…she also displays great enthusiasm for the game…daughter of Mike and Karen Derzack…played for Head Coach Sherri McConnell at Pine-Richland High School.
