Biography

As a Lady Cat
Elisa Schober played in eight games and averaged just over four minutes a game after walking on as a true freshman for the Lady Cats last season. Schober averaged 1.6 ppg. and shot 54.5% (6-11) from the field in 2009-10. Schober also knocked down 1-of-2 of her shots from three-point range, dished out four assists and picked up three steals. After her first season with the program, Schober continues to adjust to the college game and will look to solidify her role off the bench for the Lady Cats this season. Through one season with the Lady Cats, Schober poured in a career-high seven points against Bluefield State (WV) College on Feb. 6, 2010. She also scored four points against Salem International (WV) University on Dec. 10, 2009.Schober is the daughter of Skip and Mary Ellen Schober.

At McGuffey High School
Elisa Schober was a three-year starter who averaged 12.2 points per game as a senior at McGuffey High School. In 2008, she helped lead McGuffey to its first playoff appearance in 20 years, before making it back-to-back playoff appearances in 2009. She finished her career with 716 points, 162 rebounds and 264 assists. Schober was named First-Team All-Section as a senior and second-team as a junior. She earned the McGuffey High School Dick Kohl Award for Outstanding Academic and Athletic Achievements in 2009. In addition, Schober, the Most Valuable Player at the 2007 McGuffey Christmas Tournament, was a three-time All-Observer Reporter selection and the Observer Reporter Athlete of the Week on Feb. 12, 2009.
Schober was coached by Mike Calvert at McGuffey High School.
