    In 26 games in 2014-15, Leah Hansen averaged 5.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.  Her 66 assists and 84.4% (27-32) free-throw percentage both ranked second on the team, while her 16 steals were fifth on the team.  Hansen scored in double figures four times, pulled down three or more rebounds five times, and had five or more assists in a game four times.  She led the team in scoring twice and assists three times.
        Hansen, a First-Team Capital One Academic All-District selection, started all 27 games in 2013-14 on her way to averaging 11.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore.  Her 85 assists and 23 steals both led the Lady Cats, while her 40 three-point field goals ranked third on the team. She led the team in scoring three times and dished out a team best in assists 15 times. She scored in double figures 18 times and had five or more assists in a game five times.
    Hansen played in 23 games (3 starts) as a freshman in 2012-13.  She averaged 3.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.  Hansen shot 43.5% (30-69) from the field and 48.1% (13-27) from three-point range.
Hansen recorded highs of 20 points against Kutztown on Dec. 18, 2013 and 20 points at Mercyhurst on Jan. 17, 2015.  She had seven rebounds against Bluefield State (WV) on Nov. 20, 2012, and seven rebounds at Salem International (WV) on Nov. 25, 2014.  Hansen also dished out nine assists at Salem International (WV) on Nov. 25, 2014.
    Leah is the daughter of John and Kathleen Hansen.

At General McLane High School
 
                Leah Hansen, a three-sport standout at General McLane High School, was a three-time All-Region choice who scored 1,133 career points.  Hansen averaged 15 points per game as a senior and was named the school’s Female Athlete of the Year and a First-Team Meadville Tribune All-Star.
                The four-year starter and two-year team captain started as a freshman on General McLane’s team that won the district championship and advanced to the PIAA AAA Western State Finals.
                Hansen, her senior class Valedictorian, was also a four-year letter-winner in track and field and a three-year letter-winner in volleyball.
                She was coached by Sarah Jay at General McLane High School.
