Biography
At Pitt-Johnstown
In her final season at Pitt-Johnstown, Lexi Margolis started all 27 games and led the Mountain Cats in 3-point field goals-made (46). She finished second on the team in assists (56) and steals (40), and third on the team in scoring (9.2 ppg). Margolis ranked ninth in the PSAC in 3-pointers per game (1.70) and 11th in total 3-pointers. She earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Basketball Team and the Inaugural PSAC Winter Academic All-Conference Team.
Margolis posted single-game highs of eight 3-pointers and 26 points vs Indiana (PA) on Feb. 11, 2026. She also recorded nine rebounds against Mansfield on Nov. 23, 2024 and dished out a eight assists at Clarion on January 17th, 2026.
As a junior in 2024-25, Margolis played in all 27 games and made 24 starts. She led the Mountain Cats in 3-point field goals-made (31), was second on the team in assists (72) and steals (37), and fifth in both in scoring (6.6 ppg.) and rebounding (3.5 rpg.).
As a freshman in 2022-23, Margolis played in 19 games. She scored eight points, pulled down six rebounds, and had three assists. Margolis also made one steal.
Margolis played in 24 games and made six starts in 2023-24. She averaged 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game. Margolis’ 14 3-pointers ranked fifth one the team, and her 18 steals were fourth on the team. She also dished out 18 assists.
At Gateway High School
Lexi Margolis was a four-year letter-winner in both basketball and volleyball at Gateway High School. Margolis, a First-Team All-Section selection in 2018-19 a Second-Team All-Section choice in 2020-21 and 2021-22, and a Honorable Mention selection as a freshman in 2019-20, scored 705 points, pulled down 165 rebounds, blocked 29 shots, dished out 151 assists, and made 100 steals in her high school career. She also helped lead Gateway to Section Championships in 2019 and 2020. As a volleyball player, Margolis garnered Honorable Mention All-Section honors as a senior in 2021-22.

She is majoring in Accounting...Lexi is the daughter of Andy Margolis and Mindy McCurdy of Monroeville, Pa.
