Biography

At Pitt-Johnstown
2019-2020
Nicole Olkosky sat out the 2019-20 season.

Olkosky has single-game highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds against Shaw (NC) University on Nov. 9, 2018.  She also grabbed 13 rebounds against California University (PA) on Jan. 16, 2019 and dished out five assists at Slippery Rock University on Jan. 23, 2019.

 
2018-2019
Olkosky saw action in 19 games and made 15 starts in 2018-19.  Olkosky averaged 5.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.  Her 47 blocked shots led Pitt-Johnstown and ranked 62nd nationally, while her 6.5 rebounds per game and 51.6% (48-98) field goal percentage both ranked second on the team.  She led the Mountain Cats in rebounding five times and blocked shots 14 times, including eight against Winston-Salem State (NC) on Nov. 10, 2018.
 
2017-2018
As a sophomore in 2017-18, Olkosky played in all 27 games and led Pitt-Johnstown in field goal percentage (52.4%) and blocked shots (39).  She averaged 3.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.  Olkosky dished out 20 assists and made 13 steals.
 
2016-2017
Olkosky played in all 28 games as a freshman in 2016-17 and averaged 1.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.  She was also second on the team with 21 blocked shots.

 
At Chartiers Valley High School
Nicole Olkosky was a three-year letter-winner in basketball at Chartiers Valley High School where she led her team to the PIAA State Semifinals.

Olkosky finished her career with more than 500 blocked shots.  As a junior in 2014-15, Olkosky averaged 9.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 7.5 blocks per game, before averaging 10.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 7.0 blocks per game in 2015-16.

She ended her junior season with 210 total blocks and four triple-doubles.  As a senior, Olkosky had 197 blocks and three triple-doubles in 2015-16.

Nicole is the daughter of John and Marla Olkosky.  She was coached by Daniel Slain at Chartiers Valley High School.
