Biography
At Viera High School
Iasbel Alvarez was a three-year letter-winner and team captain at Viera High School where she placed fourth at the Florida State Championships and became a high school All-American with a seventh-place finish at the Virbinia Beach Nationals. A district, regional and two-time conference champion, Alvarez helped lead her team back-to-back district titles, a conference champion, and a No. 6 ranking in the state.
Alvarez is CDA-certified and graduated with honors.

Alvarez is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She is the daughter of Hilda Aponte of Melbourne, Fla.
