Warshel joined the Pitt-Johnstown starting line-up at 157 lbs. and won a Super Region I championship to advance to his first NCAA National Tournament. The PSAC Freshman of the Year, and the Pitt-Johnstown Male Freshman Athlete of the Year, was 21-7 overall and 13-4 in dua meets. He also earned Second-Tam All-PSAC honors and was named a NWCA Scholar All-American.
