Red-Shirt Freshman Season (2010-11)
With Zach Lundgren dropping to 157 lbs., Gary Lantz stepped up and won the vacated starting job at 165 lbs. Lantz went 16-8 overall and 8-3 in dual meets. He came up just short of qualifying for the National Tournament by placing fifth at the Super Region I Tournament. Lantz was also the runner-up at the Washington & Jefferson Collegiate Open.
Sophomore Season (2011-12)
After starting at 165 lbs. in 2010-11, Lantz jumped two weight classes to 184 lbs. and advanced to his first NCAA National Tournament after winning a true fourth-place match at the Super Region I Tournament. He finished with a 20-7 overall record and a 12-2 record in dual meets. Lantz had eight decisions, five falls, five major decisions, a technical fall and a default win. He also placed third at the Washington & Jefferson Collegiate Open.
Junior Season (2012-13)
Lantz continued to impress, even after jumping a weight class to 174 lbs. He placed fourth at the Super Region I Tournament to advance to his second straight National Tournament. Lantz’s 25-7 overall record was second-best on the team, while his 13-2 mark in dual meets ranked third. He was also tied for second on the team with eight falls. Lantz won the championship at the Wilkes Open and finished fourth at the Washington & Jefferson Collegiate Open.

Four-year letterman...career record of 125-26...senior season record of 35-4...2008 PIAA AAA state qualifier… three-time South-Central Region qualifier...2008 South Region runner-up...two-time section champion...holds school record for wins (37) and take downs in a season...two-time YAIAA League Division I All-Star.
