Red-Shirt Freshman Season (2022-23)
Trevon Gray took over the starting job at 125 lbs. and posted a 22-6 overall record and a 14-1 dual meet record on his way to winning a Super Region I Championship and advancing to the NCAA National Tournament. The First-Team All-PSAC selection led the Mountain Cats with nine major decision wins.
Red-Shirt Sophomore Season (2023-24)
Gray claimed his second regional crown and became an NCAA All-American by placing seventh at the Division II National Championships. Gray, a First-Team All-PSAC choice and a NWCA Scholar All-American, finished with 28-10 overall record and a 23-4 record in dual meets. His five wins by major decision were tied for the team lead, while his nine wins by technical fall ranked second and his nine decisions were tied for third on the team. He also placed eighth at the Midwest Classic.

Four-year letterman...89-20 career record...2021 Virginia State Champion and 2020 Virginia State Runner-up...GFC All-American...two-time Virginia Regional Champion.
