Former Lock Haven University standout Lily Sherer joined head Coach Shane Valko’s Pitt-Johnstown women’s wrestling coaching staff prior to the program’s inaugural season of 2025-26.
Sherer, who holds Lock Haven’s women’s wrestling all-time career wins record with 86, was a four-time National Qualifier, a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-American, an Under 23 All-American, and an NWCA Academic Team selection during her time as a Bald Eagle. In 2024-25, Sherer helped lead Lock Haven to a Regional Championship.
A graduate of Delaware Valley High School, Sherer was a three-time Pennsylvania State Champion, a two-time Fargo All-American, and a two-time Super 32 Place-winner during her high school career.
Sherer earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Lock Haven in 2025.
