Pitt-Johnstown Suffers Road Loss at East Stroudsburg

East Stroudsburg University scored a pair of goals in the first half, before adding another one in the second half to deal the Lady Cats a 3-0 PSAC loss on Saturday evening in East Stroudsburg. Pitt-Johnstown slipped to 0-13-0 overall and 0-13-0 in the PSAC.

Shea Neal notched the first goal of the match in the 25th minute with an assist by Hannah Gombos, before Gombos added another goal two minutes later to give the Warriors a 2-0 halftime advantage. 

Sammi Jo Hughes scored another goal for East Stroudsburg with an assist from Neal in the 62nd minute to end the scoring. 

Timi Shiock played in goal for Pitt-Johnstown. Shiock made 10 saves, but allowed all three goals. Brittain Wagner made one save and earned the shutout in goal for the Warriors.

East Stroudsburg improved to 7-4-2 overall and 7-4-2 in the PSAC. 

The Lady Cats travel to Shippensburg University for a conference match on Friday, before traveling to Millersville University on Saturday for another PSAC match.
