Pitt-Johnstown Suffers Road Loss at Shippensburg

Shippensburg University scored three goals in the first half, before adding one more final goal to earn a 4-0 PSAC victory over the Lady Cats,  Friday afternoon in Shippensburg, PA. The Lady Cats fell to 0-14-0 overall and 0-14-0 in the PSAC.
 
The Raiders opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a goal by Kate Zech. Ten minutes later, Rachel Hess netted a goal with an assist from Brooke Clippinger, before Brianna Brancato added another goal two minutes later.
 
Shippensburg finished the scoring with an own goal in the 76th minute off of a Lady Cat defender.
 
Timi Shiock suffered the loss in goal for Pitt-Johnstown. Shiock saw 33 Shippensburg shots, made 13 saves, but allowed all four goals. Shelbie Rackley made one save and earned the shutout in goal for the Raiders.
 
Pitt-Johnstown travels to Millersville University on Saturday for a PSAC match, before traveling to Ohio Valley (WV) University for a non-conference match on Wednesday.
