Head Coach Pat Pecora (38th season) and the eighth-ranked Mountain Cat wrestling team will put their 15-match winning streak on the line against Coach Pecora's Alma Mater and Super Region I rival West Liberty (WV) University on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.

Pitt-Johnstown opened the season with an impressive 42-6 win over 16
th-ranked University of Findlay (OH) last Wednesday to extend its winning streak that dates back to December 5, 2012 to 15 consecutive dual meets.

The Mountain Cats are led by All-Americans
Dave Fogle (125/133 lbs.),
Dave Cawley (141/149 lbs.), and
Travis McKillop (184 lbs.), and National Qualifiers
Evan Link (125/133 lbs.),
Gary Lantz (165 lbs.), and
Josh Duplin (285 lbs.). Nationally,
McKillop is second at 184 lbs., while
Cawley is sixth at 149 lbs.,
Fogle is seventh at 125 lbs., and
Duplin is eighth at 285 lbs. Eight Mountain Cats are ranked in the Super Region I rankings, including,
Cawley and
McKillop who are both ranked first.
 Fogle is second, and
Lantz and
Duplin are both third. In addition,
Link and
Nikos Garafola (174 lbs.) are both fifth, and
Zak Newton (197 lbs.) is sixth.

     West Liberty, under eighth-year
Head Coach Brian Davis, is 1-0 after a 24-18 home win over Waynesburg last Wednesday. The Hilltoppers also wrestled at the Mount Union (OH) College invitational last weekend. West Liberty is led by 2013 National Qualifier and region No. 3

     Pitt-Johnstown will host 12th-ranked Kutztown University on Friday at 7 p.m. for Alumni Night, before traveling to East Stroudsburg University on Tuesday. The Mountain Cats will not return to the Sports Center until Jan. 25 when they host Millersville University at 11 a.m.
