Mountain Cats Defeat Edinboro 91-87

Nate Snodgrass scored 25 points to lead four Pitt-Johnstown players scoring in double digits, and the Mountain Cats beat visiting Edinboro University 91-87 on Saturday afternoon in the Sports Center.

It was Pitt-Johnstown's first home game in the PSAC since joining the conference.

Ian Vescovi had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Mountain Cats. Andrew Cressler scored 13 points, hauled in 10 rebounds and dished out five assists. A.J. Leahey netted 10 points for UPJ, which improved to 3-1 overall and evened its record at 1-1 in the PSAC.

Johnny Marsh led Edinboro with a game-high 30 points, including 6 of 9 3-point field goals. Marsh also had four assists. Edinboro's Bryan Theriot had 26 points and 10 rebounds. Theriot went 10 of 10 on the free-throw line. Jonathan Logan added 10 points for Edinboro, 3-1, 0-1.
