Aignee Freeland scored 18 points and had 17 rebounds as Edinboro University overcame a one-point halftime deficit to beat host Pitt-Johnstown 91-80 on Saturday afternoon in the Sports Center.
Freeland also had four steals, two blocked shots and two assists for Edinboro, 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC.
The Fighting Scots had five players reach double-digit scoring, with Laurel Lindsay scoring 16 points, Valerie Majewski and Katie Collins, each with 15, and Hope Mancini with 13.
Jasmine Harper led Pitt-Johnstown with 21 points and had eight rebounds.Â
Kayla DeCriscio scored 14 points, including three 3-pointers, and had 10 rebounds.
Nicole Carman also had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Leah Hansen scored 12 points and had five assists.
UPJ led 39-38 at halftime, but the Fighting Scots posted a 53-41 second-half advantage.
Pitt-Johnstown fell to 1-3 overall, 0-2 in the PSAC. It was UPJ's first home game in the PSAC since joining the conference.
