In a tight first half, Jay Hardy's 3-pointer at 11:21 put Shippensburg in front 18-12, but the Mountain Cats responded to outscore the Red Raiders 22-10 to go up 34-28 at the half.

Luther's lay-up with 11 seconds left gave Pitt-Johnstown a 34-26 lead, but Abe Massaley answered with a bucket at the buzzer to cut it to six at the break.

The Mountain Cats took control in the second half. Vescovi's dunk with 7:43 remaining pushed the lead to 53-47, before a
Jake Laravie basket a minute later gave Pitt-Johnstown its first double-digit lead at 57-47.

The Mountain Cats built it to as many as 16 on another Laravie bucket with just over a minute to play.

Pitt-Johnstown shot an even 50% (28-56) from the floor and 12-17 from the free-throw line. Shippensburg ended the night shooting just 34.5% (20-58) from the field, 4-14 from behind the 3-point line, 9-16 from the charity stripe.

th 1,000-point scorer, also ranks third on the Mountain Cat All-Time 3-point Field Goals List with 209.
