Volleyball Earns Sweep at Mount Aloysius
     09/15/12... (Box Score) Ashley DiRado (Greensburg, Pa.) collected nine kills to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to a 25-13, 25-20, 25-17 non-conference sweep at local rival Mount Aloysius College on Saturday.  Pitt-Johnstown improved to 5-2.
     Kelsey Shanabrook (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) had eight kills, while Karen Schmidt (Boswell, Pa.) tallied eight kills and four block assists in the victory.  Beth Kendera (Johnstown, Pa.) added a pair of block solos and three block assists.
     Kayla Petrilla (Johnstown, Pa.) (21 assts.) and Nikki Oakes (Pittsburgh, Pa.) (16 assts.) combined for 37 set assists.  Kelsey Kohler (Johnstown, Pa.) and Katie Svetahor (Latrobe, Pa.) led the way for the Lady Cats with 16 and 11 digs, respectively.
     With the loss, Mount Aloysius dropped to 3-7 on the season.
     The Lady Cats will host a WVIAC match against West Liberty (WV) University on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Sports Center, before traveling to Pitt-Greensburg for a non-conference match on Thursday.
