Eleven Pitt-Johnstown student-athletes earned spots on the inaugural 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Fall 2025 Academic All-Conference Team when the conference office released the honorees on Wednesday.
The new honor was created to increase academic recognition for high-achieving student-athletes, which was a priority for the Conference's membership highlighted in its most recent Strategic Plan.
The Academic All-Conference teams have been adopted with the following requirements:
--Undergraduate and Graduate Student-Athletes must have completed two seasons of eligibility
at the nominating campus AND four semesters academically – with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
--Met a minimum of participation requirements. For team sport selections, this includes playing in 70% of a team's contests (through the conference championship date.) For individual sports, there are unique participation requirements that are detailed in the PSAC's
participation requirements document.
In total, 343 student-athletes across all 17 PSAC institutions qualified for the Fall 2025 PSAC Academic All-Conference Teams.
