No. 5 Wrestlers Hammer Anderson, 44-3 
     02/09/13... (Results) Head Coach Pat Pecora's fifth-ranked Mountain Cats wrestlers used four falls to raise its winning streak 13 straight dual meets with 44-3 victory over Anderson (SC) University, Saturday night in the Sports Center.  Pitt-Johnstown improved to 14-2.

     Seventh-ranked Dave Cawley (Pittsburgh, Pa.) (141 lbs.), Gary Lantz (Delta, Pa.) (174 lbs.), sixth-ranked Travis McKillop (Lower Burrell, Pa.) (184 lbs.), and Josh Duplin (Johnstown, Pa.) (285 lbs.) all recorded falls for the Mountain Cats.

     The Mountain Cats also got major decisions from Evan Link (Cresson, Pa.) (125 lbs.) and Super Region 1 third-ranked Keith Ryan (Shirleysburg, Pa.) over region No.4-ranked Jamal Lackey at 165 lbs.

     Joel Paolo (Weirton, WV) (157 lbs.) and Nikos Garafola (Greensburg, Pa.) (197 lbs.) both won by decision, and Jack Bachman (Greensburg, Pa.) won by forfeit at 149 lbs.

     Pitt-Johnstown's only loss came at 133 lbs. when Zak Hale upset seventh-ranked Dave Fogle (Summerhill, Pa.), 7-2.

     With the loss, Anderson fell to 4-16 on the season.

     The Mountain Cats close the dual meet season at home against Shippensburg University for Senior Night on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center, before traveling to the Super Region I Tournament at Kutztown University on Feb. 22-23 and to the 2013 NCAA Division II National Tournament in Birmingham, Ala. on March 8-9.
