However, the Bobcats outscored the Lady Cats 22-9 the rest of the way to build a seven-point halftime advantage. Danae Hill's basket put West Virginia Wesleyan up for the first time at 25-24 with 7:18 left, before two Jasmine Brown free-throws made it 27-24 to cap a 9-0 run.

West Virginia Wesleyan held onto the momentum to start the second half. Jamie Kaufman's lay-up at 17:06 pushed the lead to 48-35.
The Lady Cats cut it to 11 on the next possession, but the Bobcasts extended the margin to 58-41 on Kaufman's basket in the paint at the 11:43 mark.
Dalton's three-pointer midway through the half got Pitt-Johnstown to within 10, but it never got any closer.
West Virginia built the lead to as many as 22 with just under left, before going on to the 18-point win.
