Women's Soccer Falls on the Road at Seton Hill

The Pitt Johnstown women's soccer team hit the road for the first time this season and suffered a 7-0 loss to Seton Hill University Thursday afternoon. The match, which was originally scheduled to be played in Johnstown, was moved to Seton Hill due to unplayable field conditions from the recent rain. Head Coach Crystal Dye's team fell to 2-1-0 on the season.
Seton Hill jumped out to a 1-0 lead just :50 into the match, before going on to score two more goals before the end of the first half. The Griffins added four more gaols in the second half to set the final score at 7-0.
Pitt Johnstown junior goalkeeper Anna Yarnall (Allentown, Pa.)made 10 saves, but suffered the loss and fell to 2-1-0.
Seton Hill, which outshot Pitt Johnstown 26-8 for the match, improved to 4-0-0 on the year.
Pitt Johnstown will travel to Gallaudet (D.C.) University on September 16 and to Columbia Union (MD) College on September 17, before returning home to host Mount Aloysius College on Wednesday, September 20 at 4:30 p.m.
