Lady Cat Soccer Falls 3-0 at Lock Haven

The Lady Cat soccer team hit the road for the first time in 2008 and surrendered a pair of first half goals in a 3-0 loss at Lock Haven University. Head Coach Jim Herlinger's team is now 2-3-0 overall.
The Bald Eagles jumped out to a 1-0 on Arielle Gordon's unassisted goal just two minutes into the match, before taking a 2-0 halftime lead on a goal by Melinda Dodson in the 34th minute. Lock Haven then sealed the victory when Dodson tallied her second goal in the 90th minute.
Pitt-Johnstown goalkeeper Stephanie Paha (Slickville, Pa.) gave up all three goals and made three saves. Paha is now 2-1-0. Lock Haven's Kim Bentley earned the shutout after making three saves.
The Bald Eagles outshot the Lady Cats 17-6 and held a 6-3 advantage in shots on-goal.
With the win, Lock Haven evened its record at 3-3-0.
The Lady Cats return home to host a WVIAC match against Daivs & Elkins (WV) College on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
