Lady Cat Volleyball Sweeps Seton Hill

Jessica Heidenthal (Clymer, Pa.) had eight kills, and Beth Kendera (Johnstown, Pa.) added eight kills and five block solos to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to a 25-18, 25-20, 25-21 sweep at Seton Hill University, Wednesday night. Pitt-Johnstown made it three straight sweeps and improved to 5-4 overall and 3-1 in the WVIAC.
Along with Heidenthal and Kendera, Taylor Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) had seven kills and 10 digs, and Lindsay Roush (Johnstown, Pa.) collected six kills, a block solo and two block assists.
Kayla Petrilla (Johnstown, Pa.) led the Lady Cats with 13 set assists and added eight digs, while Taylor King (York, Pa.) had nine assists.
Kelsey Kohler (Johnstown, Pa.) had 18 digs, and Olivia Hutchinson (Sinking Spring, Pa.) chipped in six digs in the victory.
With the loss, Seton Hill fell to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
The Lady Cats before travel to WVIAC matches at Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College on Friday and Davis & Elkins (WV) College on Saturday, before hosting a non-conference match against Point Park University on Thursday, September 30 at 7 p.m. in the Sports Center.
