Women's Volleyball Swept at Seton Hill

Kristin Irwin (Bellefonte, Pa.) had nine kills and one block assist, but the Lady Cat volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at WVIAC rival Seton Hill University, Tuesday night. With the loss, head coach Linda Renzi's team fell to 16-10 overall and 7-4 in conference play.
Seton Hill defeated Pitt-Johnstown 25-18, 25-15 and 27-25.
Along with Irwin, Taylor Hrescak (Johnstown, Pa.) had seven kills and a block assist, and Nicole Houser (Penn Run, Pa.) added four kills and five block assists. Merissa Larrew (Irwin, Pa.) led the Lady Cats with 13 set assists, while Taylor King (York, Pa.) chipped in nine assists in the loss.
With the victory, Seton Hill improved to 9-8 overall and 6-4 in the WVIAC.
Pitt-Johnstown hosts Fairmont State (WV) University on Thursday and Mount Aloysius College on Monday. Both non-conference matches will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Sports Center.
