Heidenthal WVIAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Lady Cat junior middle hitter Jessica Heidenthal (Clymer, Pa.) was named WVIAC Women's Volleyball Co-Player of the Week on Monday with Wheeling Jesuit (WV) University's Keysha Allison after collecting a career-high 25 kills in a close loss at Fairmont State (WV) University on Saturday.
Heidenthal had 25 kills on 31 attacks and a .667 hitting percentage in Pitt-Johnstown's 3-2 loss against the Falcons. Heidenthal also had 14 digs and a pair of service aces.
Allison helped nationally-ranked Wheeling Jesuit take non-league wins against Mercyhurst and Urbana by tallying 45 assists, 24 kills, 11 digs, 8 blocks, and an impressive .511 hitting percentage.
