Lady Cat Soccer Suffers 3-0 Loss at Kutztown

Kutztown University jumped out a 3-0 lead first half lead and went on to defeat Pitt-Johnstown by that score Saturday afternoon in Kutztown, PA. The Lady Cats fell to 0-6-0 overall, and 0-6-0 in the PSAC.
 
The Golden Bears started off the match with a header goal by Hanna Fenstermacher assisted by Diana Malanga and Megan Frailer in the 12th minute. Kutztown added another goal 11 minutes later by Frailer.
 
Rubi Minik went on to score the third and final goal of the match from 25 yards out in the 30th minute.
 
Leeann Gorman gave up all three goals and made five saves. Rebekah Schultz, who replaced Gorman in the 78th minute, made two saves. Alina Rakiewicz and Jess Campbell combined in goal for the shut out for Kutztown.
 
The Golden Bears improved to 3-3-0 overall and 3-3-0 in the PSAC.
 
The Lady Cats travel to California University (PA) on Tuesday for a PSAC match, before hosting another PSAC match against Slippery Rock University on Saturday at 4 PM at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
