Beth Kendera added 16 kills to lead the Lady Cat volleyball team to its first conference win with a 3-sets-to-2 victory over Seton Hill University in Saturday's first round of the PSAC Crossover in Greensburg, Pa. Pitt-Johnstown improved to 7-4 overall and 1-2 in conference-play.

The Lady Cats dropped the first set 25-15, but answered with 25-19 and 28-26 wins to go up 2-1. After Seton Hill forced a fifth set with a 25-14 win, Pitt-Johnstown claimed the victory by holding off the Griffins, 15-12.

Erminio collected 11 digs to go along with her 17 kills, while Kendera had 16 kills, a block solo and five block assists.Â
Larissa Swank had seven kills and four block assists, and
Ashley DiRado collected six kills, seven digs, a block solo, and four block assists.Â
Kelsey Shanabrook also had six kills, 17 digs, and three block assists in the victory.

Pitt-Johnstown got a match-high 48 set assists and 15 digs from
Allison Mondorff.Â
Nikki Oakes had five service aces, and
Katie Svetahor finished with a match-high 28 digs for the Lady Cats.

Corinne Gahagen had 16 kills, while Cassie Hausfeld and Abigail Malsh tallied 15 kills apiece for the Griffins, who slipped to 12-3 overall and 2-1 in the PSAC.
