Gannon Shut Outs Lady Cats 4-0

Gannon University scored four first half goals to deal Pitt-Johnstown a 4-0 PSAC loss, Saturday afternoon at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field. The Lady Cats fell to 0-13-0 overall and 0-11-0 in the conference. 


Mani Brueckner opened the scoring after beating a Pitt-Johnstown defender and finishing a shot in the box in the 10th minute. Ally Sharpe added another unassisted goal two minutes later.
 
The Golden Knights weren't done yet.  Kaitlyn Kissell and Bethany Perri each scored a goal in a span of two minutes to conclude the scoring for the match to put Gannon ahead 4-0.

Timi Shiock saw 19 shots and made seven saves, but suffered the loss in net for Pitt-Johnstown. Danitza Indacochea started the match for Gannon and made one save to earn the win, before Kayla Wysocki entered the match in the second half to make one save. 

Gannon improved to 6-7-0 overall and 6-6-0 in the PSAC.

The Lady Cats travel to West Chester University for a conference match on Wednesday, before hosting another PSAC match on Saturday against East Stroudsburg University at 2:30 p.m. at the Pitt-Johnstown Soccer Field.
